Lockdown measures imposed in a number of countries due to the spread of Covid-19. Of course, apps and technology services as a whole have been around for years but arguably have never been so important. People are adjusting to a new normal.

One of the biggest names to benefit from the coronavirus pandemic is Zoom. In April, the app was installed more times than in the period from its launch. It has become one of the most popular apps used on its network since a lockdown commenced on 23 March 2020.

In a less-than-ideal situation, the Zoom conferencing platform has become central to many people’s everyday life during the crisis. Zoom App has been used as people began to work from home and even schooling from home.
